บัตรคิว

Sharath's announcement that I talked about last time is that he want to issue an Identity Card (aka บัตรคิว) to each student so that class attendance can be done in an orderly manner. So yesterday at 4.30pm, all students must go to the shala to receive this ID. At first the card issuing process is quite chaotic. I thought I have to wait til like 8pm to receive the card. Then Kimberly (an authorized teacher) decided to help Sharath organize the queue line according to each students registration date, so things go much faster after that. Apparently from the card, I'm student no.185 and have to start my practice around 7.30. There are around 20 students after me in the queue. So the students at the main shala are now exceeding 200. (There is a rumor that around 50 are more to come.) Tomorrow I will talk more about my first Mysore practice.

Now I gonna explain the registration process in Thai. So things are not lost in translation.

AYRI เปิดให้ลงทะเบียนวันจันทร์-ศุกร์ นะครับ ตั้งแต่เวลา 16.30-18.00 โดย guruji จะเป็นคนรับลงทะเบียนเอง พอไปถึง shala แล้วก็ไปนั่งรอ ปกติจะให้เข้าไปลงทะเบียนกันทีละ 2 คนครับ บางที Saraswati ก็จะมาช่วยคุมแถวลงทะเบียนด้วย เตรียมรูปถ่ายไปด้วย 1 รูป จะ 1 หรือ 2 นิ้วก็ได้ เข้าไปถึงแล้ว guruji ก็จะให้กรอกใบลงทะเบียน มีรายละเอียด ชื่อ ที่อยู่ มาจากประเทศไหน ฯลฯ ด้านหลังของใบลงทะเบียนจะมีกฎระเบียบของการเรียนที่นี่คือ ห้ามไปเรียน Asana หรือ Pranayama ที่อื่นในระหว่างที่มาฝึกที่นี่ และถ้าครูบอกให้หยุดฝึกที่ท่าไหนก็ต้องปฏิบัติตามอย่างเคร่งครัด จริง ๆ มีอีกข้อหนึ่งแต่จำไม่ได้ เสร็จแล้วก็จ่ายเงินครับ ตอนนี้เดือนแรก 26,900 รูปี สำหรับเดือนแรก (อัตราแลกเปลี่ยนตอนนี้ประมาณ 22,600 บาท) ถ้าเรียนเดือนถัด ๆ ไปเหลือ 17,900 รูปี (ประมาณ 15,000 บาท) จ่ายเงินแล้ว ก็จะได้เห็น Guruji ใช้เครื่องนับแบงค์ แต่ถ้าคุณอยู่ในเหตุการณ์คุณจะเข้าใจเลยว่าไม่มีทางที่ Guruji จะมานั่งนับแบงค์ 500 รูปี ปึกละ 54 ใบได้ เสร็จแล้วถ้าเป็นเมื่อก่อน Guruji ก็จะบอกว่าให้มาเริ่ม class กี่โมง แต่ตอนนี้มีบัตรคิวแล้วก็มาตามบัตรครับ ส่วนพอถึงวันที่มาฝึก Mysore จริงต้องทำยังไงบ้าง เดี๋ยวพรุ่งนี้จะมาเล่าให้ฟังต่อครับ
